Air-Water Heat Pumps
How does it work?
There is a heat pump in the outdoor unit which absorbs the heat from the ambient air by means of a coolant and condenser. The indoor unit receives the heat and will use it to heat the water. The hot water is then transferred to the heating elements or water pipes.
Air-Air Heat Pump

How does it work?
As you could already read, ain air-air heat pump is made up of an indoor unit and an outdoor unit. The outdoor unit attracts the air with a fan. This air is brought to the desired temerature with the help of a cooling gas, which is heated by a compressor. The heated cooling gas releases its energy to the air that is sucked in by the indoor unit. In this way, warm air can be clown into your home.
As already mentioned, the system can also be used in reverse; the air-air heat pump can also extract heat from a room and this act as an air conditionier.
